Steinfurt’s Strawberrycake

9 oz flour
4 1/2 oz sugar
4 1/2 oz butter
1 pack of vanilla sugar
2 eggs
1 pinch of salt
1/2 pack of baking powder

1 pack of cake glaze
around 18oz strawberries

Give the butter into a bowl and stirr it until it is smooth. Add sugar, vanilla sugar and salt and mix the ingredients until it turns into bound mixture. Stirr the eggs on the highest setting and add flour and baking powder after and churn them mid setting. The finished dough will be given into the form with moist hands and smoothed out, then put in the oven on the lowest level. After 20 minutes of baking, the cake will be taken out of the oven and form and put to rest until it cools down. Then the strawberries will be cut in half and placed on top of the cake. The cake glaze will be added on top of the strawberries and once that hardens, you can savor the cake.

I chose this cake because the recipe is steadily passed down and used in my family and often gets eaten at family meetings or other occasions.
