We woke up early in the morning and finished any last minute packing we needed to do and went over our packing checklist one last time. We drove to the school and took one last picture goodbye. The drive to the airport was about an hour and a half but it was a chill ride there. At the airport we started by checking all our bags and making sure everyone was good to go through security. TSA didn’t take as long as I expected and was pretty quick. We arrived at our gate and waited to board the flight. Once on the flight they provided dinner and movies but most of the flight was spent sleeping. In the morning which felt like the middle of the night for us, we arrived at the Frankfurt airport and waited for a while for our next flight where some of us got food and some of us took naps. The next flight was very short but a rocky one. The plane was shaking so much. Once in Dusseldorf we took a train to Wattenscheid and prepared to see our partners again.
