One thing i have noticed is that they play a lot more board games with each other here. There is a lot less like spending time alone on your phone or watching television compared to America. Common games they play are Uno, Monopoly Deal, and most of all Poker. Me and my host family have been playing these games a bunch and have lots of fun playing them. It was fun when we first started because my host family expected me to be bad and be able to beat easily but I ended up beating them. The favorite game to play at my host family’s house is poker but closely seconded by monopoly deal. Poker is so fun because my exchange kids mom has an awful poker face so its funny seeing her try to hide when she has good cards. On the other hand, his dad likes to go all in and hope for people to fold. It cool seeing the different ways different people try and play the game to win. For Monopoly deal its more of a luck game hoping you can draw the right cards to build a set and become rich. I have been good at both of the games and am excited to keep playing.
