Socializing in Germany is similar to how we socialize in America. During the first week in Germany, my exchange partner and I decided to ride our bikes to the park and meet some friends there. We met with one of our German friends as well as two of our American friends. This was at about 9 pm, but unlike Florida, the sun was still out.
At the park, we walked around and found ways to have fun. We found a trampoline and talked for a long time. We climbed to the top of a hill and began to sing a bunch of songs. Later, we came up with the idea to record Tik Toks and we instantly began to look up dances for us to do. Once we found a dance we liked, we learned it and recorded it. We even recorded a video of a German trend!
Before we knew it, time flew by, and it was suddenly around 11 pm. We had recorded several videos and had so much fun. Even when it had gotten dark, we used our phone flashlights to be able to record. We ended up going home a little after 11 pm; hanging out in the park was so much fun!
