When we arrived to the school I was greeted by my partner and his family and they loaded my stuff up in the car and we headed to their home. Once we arrived at the house I got everything situated and we ate something and started our trek through the forest to the hill. Once we got to the hill we met up with some other people from the exchange and hung out at the top for a little and  talked. I took lots of pictures and sent them to my family because my dad loves sunset pictures. Seeing and walking through the beautiful forest was such a great experience and I am so grateful for the experience my German partner has brought forth to me. After the sunset walk to the hill which was absolutely amazingly awesome, we set foot back to my partners house where we devoured some exquisite German lasagna. Once we finished dinner I helped with dishes and we headed to bed for the night because the next day we had to embark on our first day of German school. – Blake
